~**Μέρκελ: Δεν καθυστέρησα να βοηθήσω την Ελλάδα

Η σταθερότητα της ευρωζώνης αποτελεί θεμελιώδες συμφέρον της Γερμανίας και η μεγαλύτερη χώρα της Ευρώπης δεν μπορούσε να κλείσει τα μάτια στα προβλήματά της.

Αυτό, μεταξύ άλλων, αναφέρει η καγκελάριος Άγκελα Μέρκελ σε συνέντευξή της στην εφημερίδα Sueddeutsche Zeitung.

Στο σημείο της συνέντευξης που αφορά κυρίως Ελλάδα η Μέρκελ αρνήθηκε τις κατηγορίες πως ευθύνεται που το πακέτο βοήθειας προς την Ελλάδα ήταν πιο τελικά «πιο ακριβό» απ΄ ότι ήταν απαραίτητο.

«Έλαβα αποφάσεις που θεώρησα πως ήταν σωστές από νομική και οικονομική άποψη. Γιατί στην περίπτωση της Ελλάδας το θέμα ήταν να αντιμετωπιστούν οι ρίζες του προβλήματος τα μεγάλα ελλείμματα και η έλλειψη ανταγωνιστικότητας».

Η γερμανίδα καγκελάριος σημείωσε πως οι εγγυήσεις που δόθηκαν για την Ελλάδα σχεδιάστηκαν με τρόπο που να διασφαλίζεται ότι το κοινό νόμισμα θα παραμείνει σταθερό και απέρριψε τους υπαινιγμούς ότι η Γερμανία καθιστά διαθέσιμα κεφάλαια για την Ελλάδα την ίδια στιγμή που δηλώνει πως δεν υπάρχουν χρήματα για φορολογικές περικοπές.

Η Μέρκελ είπε επίσης πως τα υψηλά ελλείμματα του προϋπολογισμού στην Ευρώπη έπειτα από την οικονομική κρίση είναι αιτία ανησυχίας για πολλούς Γερμανούς πολίτες.


~**Στην Πάτρα η υπουργός Υγείας

Τα προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζουν τα δύο μεγάλα νοσηλευτικά ιδρύματα της Πάτρας θα τεθούν στο τραπέζι των συζητήσεων που θα έχει η Μαριλίζα Ξενογιαννακοπούλου, με τους τοπικούς φορείς κατά τη διάρκεια της επίσκεψης της υπουργού Υγείας στην αχαϊκή πρωτεύσασα.

Σύμφωνα με την υγειονομική περιφέρεια της Αχαΐας η κ. Ξενογιαννακοπούλου αναμένεται να επισκεφτεί και τα δύο μεγάλα νοσοκομεία, της Πάτρας, το Πανεπιστημιακό και το νοσοκομείο «Άγιος Ανδρέας».

Στόχος της επίσκεψης να διαπιστωθούν τα προβλήματα στο ευαίσθητο χώρο της υγείας και δοθούν συγκεκριμένες οδηγίες ειδικά για το κτιριακό πρόβλημα που αντιμετωπίζει το νοσοκομείο του «Άγιου Ανδρέα».

~** Τι είπαν Erdogan - Παπανδρέου στη συνέντευξη Τύπου

Με τη φράση «δεν πρόκειται για μια συνήθη επίσκεψη αλλά για μια ιστορική επίσκεψη», υποδέχθηκε ο πρωθυπουργός, Γιώργος Παπανδρέου, τον Τούρκο ομόλογό του, Recep Tayip Erdogan, στη συνέντευξη Τύπου που έδωσαν οι δύο ηγέτες, μετά την υπογραφή πολλών συμφωνιών από τις δύο αντιπροσωπείες.

Τόνισε, επίσης, ότι οι δύο χώρες και οι δύο πρωθυπουργοί είναι αποφασισμένοι να δουλέψουν για να εμπεδωθεί η συνεργασία και να επιλυθούν πολλά προβλήματα του παρελθόντος, ώστε να φτάσουμε στην ειρήνη και τη συμφιλίωση.

Ο κ. Παπανδρέου διαπίστωσε πως υπάρχει βούληση αλλά και θάρρος από την πλευρά της Τουρκίας, «η οποία δεν φοβάται να πάρει πρωτοβουλίες αλλά και να συζητήσει θέματα τα οποία παλαιότερα η γειτονική χώρα θεωρούσε λυμένα».

Και απαντώντας σε σχετική ερώτηση ανέφερε πως «ο κ. Erdogan και μόνο ότι συζητάει το Κυπριακό πρόβλημα και αναζητεί λύση, όταν παλαιότερα ο τότε πρωθυπουργός, Βuled Etchevit είχε δηλώσει ότι το Κυπριακό λύθηκε το 1974, δείχνει το θάρρος του Τούρκου πρωθυπουργού».

Επιπλέον, ο Γ. Παπανδρέου αναφέρθηκε στο κλίμα και το πνεύμα που υπήρξε κατά το 1999-2004, όταν οι δύο λαοί συνεργάστηκαν στην περίοδο των καταστροφικών σεισμών «όπου», όπως τόνισε, «εκφράστηκε εκατέρωθεν μια άνευ προηγουμένου συμπαράσταση η οποία, όπως πρόσθεσε, είχε ως αποτέλεσμα να αναπτυχθεί η διπλωματία των πολιτών.

Αναφορικά με τη σύσταση του Ανώτατου Συμβουλίου Συνεργασίας, τόνισε ότι «φιλοδοξούμε να είναι το βασικό όχημα προώθησης της μεταξύ μας συνεννόησης στα θέματα χαμηλής πολιτικής, τα οποία, όμως, είναι μεγάλης σημασίας».

Ακόμη, συμφωνήθηκε ότι δύο φορές το χρόνο θα υπάρχουν συναντήσεις σε επίπεδο υπουργών Εξωτερικών και μία φορά σε επίπεδο πρωθυπουργών.

Αναφερόμενος στο Κυπριακό ο κ. Παπανδρέου ζήτησε τη συμβολή της τουρκικής πλευράς ώστε να υπάρξει δίκαιη και βιώσιμη λύση στο πρόβλημα, στο πλαίσιο πάντα των αποφάσεων του ΟΗΕ, με σεβασμό στις αρχές και τις αξίες της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης.
«Βασικά στοιχεία της πορείας της Τουρκίας προς την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση», ανέφερε, «είναι ο σεβασμός του διεθνούς δικαίου, των ανθρωπίνων δικαιωμάτων και ελευθεριών, καθώς και ο σεβασμός των κανόνων της καλής γειτονίας».


~** Δασκαλόπουλος: Χρήσιμη η εμπειρία της Τουρκίας από το ΔΝΤ

Χρήσιμη χαρακτήρισε σήμερα ο πρόεδρος του Συνδέσμου Ελληνικών Βιομηχανιών, Δημήτρης Δασκαλόπουλος, την εμπειρία της Τουρκίας από το Διεθνές Νομισματικό Ταμείο, μιλώντας από το βήμα του ελληνοτουρκικού Επιχειρηματικού Φόρουμ.

«Σημειώνω, ιδιαίτερα, ότι επιτύχατε να επωφεληθείτε της συνδρομής του ΔΝΤ για να προσδώσετε στην τουρκική οικονομία μια νέα αναπτυξιακή δυναμική, η οποία ενισχύει τη βούληση της ηγεσίας σας να αποκτήσει η Τουρκία ένα ρόλο πιο ενεργό, πιο διακριτό στη διεθνή σκηνή. Η εμπειρία σας είναι πολλαπλά χρήσιμη για τη χώρα μου στη σημερινή συγκυρία», τόνισε ο κ. Δασκαλόπουλος.

«Είμαστε γείτονες, στο παρελθόν υπήρξαμε και εχθροί, ωστόσο, στη σημερινή παγκόσμια δομή σχέσεων, οι συγκρουσιακές λογικές είναι ξεπερασμένες», πρόσθεσε.

Ο ποδηλάτης χρησιμοποίησε, ούτε λίγο ούτε πολύ 20 αλυσίδες για να διασφαλίσει ότι κανένα εξάρτημα του «οχήματός» του δεν θα κλαπεί…ιδιαίτερα εν μέσω οικονομικής κρίσης!

~** Το μεγαλύτερο burger στον κόσμο

Μία θέση στο βιβλίο των ρεκόρ Guiness κατέκτησε επάξια ένας Καναδός, ο οποίος δημιούργησε το μεγαλύτερο burger στον κόσμο.

Η υπαίθρια κουζίνα στήθηκε σε κεντρικό δρόμο του Toronto, ενώ πολλοί ήταν αυτοί που έσπευσαν να δοκιμάσουν το παχυντικό γεύμα. Το γιγάντιο burger ζυγίζει περίπου 268 κιλά.


~** Τα «θαύματα» των cheerleaders

Έστω και για μια φορά στη ζωή μας έχουμε πάει να παρακολουθήσουμε έναν αγώνα basket.

Kατά τη διάρκεια λοιπόν των time out εμφανίζονται οι γνωστές σε όλους μας cheerleaders, οι οποίες κρατούν συντροφιά στους φιλάθλους με τα χορευτικά τους.

Γι’ αυτά τα χορευτικά έχουν δαπανηθεί ώρες σκληρής προπόνησης για να επιτευχθεί ο στόχος τους.

Στο video που ακολουθεί θα παρακολουθήσετε αποσπάσματα από τις προσπάθειες των cheerleaders.


~** ΥΓΕΙΑ ΓΙΑ ΟΛΟΥΣ σήμερα :

** Μεταφορά ανδρικού νου σε γυναικείο σώμα μέσω εικονικής πραγματικότητας




Ένα πρωτότυπο πείραμα διεξήγαγαν ερευνητές του Πανεπιστημίου της Βαρκελώνης, κατά τη διάρκεια του οποίου άνδρες εθελοντές «μπήκαν» για λίγο σε γυναικεία σώματα, με τη χρήση της εικονικής πραγματικότητας.

Οι επιστήμονες κατασκεύασαν ένα «κράνος» εικονικής πραγματικότητας, που επέτρεπε στους άνδρες εθελοντές να βλέπουν και να ακούνε τον κόσμο γύρω τους σαν να ήταν γυναίκες. Όταν κοιτούσαν χαμηλά το «γυναικείο» σώμα τους, μπορούσαν να δουν τα φορέματα που -νόμιζαν ότι- φορούσαν.
Το αίσθημα της «ανταλλαγής» ταυτότητας ήταν τόσο πειστικό, ώστε ξεπερνούσε τη σωματική ταύτιση, καθώς οι άνδρες άρχισαν να αντιδρούν -αντανακλαστικά- στα γεγονότα του εικονικού κόσμου, όπως ακριβώς θα έκανε μία γυναίκα. Τα αποτελέσματα αυτά καταδεικνύουν ότι ο νους του ανθρώπου έχει μια πολύ «ρευστή» εικόνα για το σώμα του.

Το πείραμα, που μπορεί να ρίξει φως στο πώς οι άνθρωποι διακρίνουν τους εαυτούς τους από τους άλλους, διενεργήθηκε υπό τον δρ. Mel Slater και δημοσιεύθηκε στο επιστημονικό περιοδικό «PLoS One».

«Αυτή η έρευνα ανοίγει έναν νέο δρόμο στην εικονική πραγματικότητα, καθώς δεν μεταμορφώνει μόνο την αίσθηση του χώρου, αλλά και την αίσθηση του εαυτού» δήλωσε ο δρ. Slater, ο οποίος συνεργάζεται και με το τμήμα επιστήμης των υπολογιστών του University College του Λονδίνου. Σύμφωνα με τον ερευνητή, «αν μπορούμε να δώσουμε στους ανθρώπους την ψευδαίσθηση, ότι τα σώματά τους είναι διαφορετικά, τότε τα στοιχεία που έχουμε ως τώρα δείχνουν πως επίσης επηρεάζεται η συμπεριφορά τους και ο τρόπος που σκέφτονται».

Η έρευνα αναμένεται να βοηθήσει στην κατανόηση ενός από τα σημαντικότερα αινίγματα της νεύρο- επιστήμης που αφορά στον τρόπο με τον οποίο ο ανθρώπινος εγκέφαλος μπορεί να ξεχωρίσει ένα μέρος του σώματός μας από κάτι άλλο στον περιβάλλοντα χώρο. Επιπλέον, οι επιστήμονες δείχνουν αισιόδοξοι, καθώς τέτοιου είδους έρευνες μπορεί μελλοντικά να βοηθήσουν ασθενείς που έχουν πληγεί από εγκεφαλικό και άλλα ιατρικές παθήσεις, να μπορέσουν να χρησιμοποιήσουν εκ νέου το σώμα τους.


~** Η ρυθμική γυμναστική σύμμαχος των οστών

Η ρυθμική γυμναστική βελτιώνει την υγεία των οστών, σύμφωνα με νέα έρευνα.

Τα ευρήματα υποδεικνύουν ότι η άσκηση με ρυθμική γυμναστική βελτιώνει σημαντικά την υγεία των οστών σε έφηβες.

Δεδομένου ότι η οστεοπόρωση ξεκινά στην παιδική ηλικία είναι πιθανό να εικάσει κάποιος ότι αν τα κορίτσια συνεχίσουν να ασκούνται πέρα από την εφηβεία, ακόμα και σε λιγότερο έντονο βαθμό, μπορεί ενδεχομένως να εμφανίσουν μελλοντικά μειωμένο κίνδυνο κατάγματος οστών.

Η έρευνα περιέλαβε 26 κορίτσια, ηλικίας 9 έως 13 ετών, κορυφαίες αθλήτριες ρυθμικής γυμναστικής, που ασκήθηκαν τουλάχιστον 2 χρόνια και 23 κορίτσια ίδιας ηλικίας που έλαβαν μέρος σε δραστηριότητες σχετικά με την εκπαίδευση στην άσκηση.

Οι ερευνητές ανακάλυψαν ότι οι αθλήτριες εμφάνιζαν αυξημένη σκληρότητα στο φλοιώδες οστό (εξωτερικό κέλυφος των οστών) και οστική δύναμη, σε σχέση με τα υπόλοιπα κορίτσια.

Ο ερευνητής δήλωσε ότι η μακροπρόθεσμη σημασία του οφέλους στο σκελετό λόγω της έντονης άσκησης παραμένει ασαφής. Ορισμένες έρευνες έδειξαν πτώση της πυκνότητας μετάλλων μετά τη λήξη της άσκησης, ενώ μια πρόσφατη έρευνα ανακάλυψε αύξηση στα μέταλλα οστών και στη σκληρότητα φλοιώδους οστού σε αθλήτριες έξι χρόνια μετά την απόσυρση από το άθλημα.

~** H τηλεόραση βλάπτει τα νήπια



Όσο περισσότερη τηλεόραση βλέπει ένα νήπιο τόσο πιθανότερο είναι η επίδοσή του στο σχολείο να μην είναι καλή, ή να αντιμετωπίσει προβλήματα στην υγεία του όταν φτάσει στην ηλικία των 10 ετών.

Αυτό προκύπτει από νέα έρευνα που πραγματοποιήθηκε στον Καναδά. Για τις ανάγκες της έρευνας οι επιστήμονες παρακολούθησαν περίπου 1.300 παιδιά ηλικίας 2,5 με 4,5 ετών και ρώτησαν τους γονείς τους πόση ώρα τα άφηναν να παρακολουθούν τηλεόραση.

Τα παιδιά ηλικίας δυο ετών παρακολουθούσαν κατά μέσο όρο εννιά ώρες τηλεόραση την εβδομάδα, ενώ τα παιδιά ηλικίας τεσσάρων ετών έβλεπαν κατά μέσο όρο 15 ώρες τηλεόραση.

Ωστόσο, το 11% των δίχρονων και το 23% των τετράχρονων ξεπερνούσε το επιτρεπόμενο όριο, παρακολουθώντας περισσότερες από δυο ώρες τηλεόραση την ημέρα.

Οι επιστήμονες εξέτασαν και πάλι τα παιδιά στην ηλικία των δέκα ετών και ρώτησαν τους δασκάλους τους σχετικά με τη συμπεριφορά και την επίδοσή τους στο σχολείο. Παράλληλα, εξέτασαν την υγεία τους και μέτρησαν τον δείκτη μάζας σώματος.

Όπως διαπιστώθηκε, τα παιδιά που έβλεπαν πολλές ώρες τηλεόραση σε ηλικία δυο ετών δεν είχαν κοινωνικοποιηθεί αρκετά στην τάξη, ενώ δυσκολεύονταν με τα μαθήματα.

Εκτός αυτού, κατανάλωναν σε μεγάλο βαθμό «πρόχειρο φαγητό» και αναψυκτικά, και είχαν υψηλότερο δείκτη μάζας σώματος.

~** Εμφράγματα και εγκεφαλικά από την περιβαλλοντική μόλυνση;




Ισχυρότερα από ποτέ είναι τα επιστημονικά στοιχεία, ότι η μόλυνση του περιβάλλοντος, που προέρχεται από τη βιομηχανία, την παραγωγή ηλεκτρισμού και τα αυτοκίνητα, προκαλεί εγκεφαλικά και εμφράγματα. Συνεπώς, οι άνθρωποι, ιδίως οι ομάδες υψηλού κινδύνου, θα πρέπει, όσο μπορούν, να αποφεύγουν να εισπνέουν το «νέφος» των πόλεων, σύμφωνα με μια νέα αμερικανική επιστημονική έρευνα.

Η μελέτη, υπό τον δρα Robert Brook του πανεπιστημίου του Michican για λογαριασμό του Αμερικανικού Καρδιολογικού Συλλόγου, σύμφωνα με το πρακτορείο Reuter, δείχνει ότι τα λεπτά σωματίδια από την καύση της βενζίνης, του άνθρακα και του πετρελαίου είναι οι κύριοι υπεύθυνοι για το φράξιμο των αρτηριών που μπορεί να συμβεί. Σύμφωνα με τη μελέτη, αρκούν μόνο λίγες μέρες ή και ώρες αυξημένης έκθεσης στην περιβαλλοντική μόλυνση, για να αυξηθεί άμεσα ο καρδιαγγειακός κίνδυνος για έναν άνθρωπο που είναι ευάλωτος, αλλά ο οποίος μπορεί, υπό άλλες συνθήκες, να παρέμενε υγιής επί πολλά χρόνια.

Σύμφωνα με τον Αμερικανικό Καρδιολογικό Σύλλογο, τα σωματίδια της μόλυνσης - και οι χημικές ουσίες που τα συνοδεύουν - μπορούν να δράσουν με διάφορους τρόπους, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της πρόκλησης φλεγμονής. Ο Brook προειδοποίησε ότι οι ομάδες υψηλού κινδύνου (όσοι έχουν υψηλή χοληστερίνη ή πίεση, διαβήτη κ.λπ.), πρέπει να περιορίζουν - κατά το δυνατόν - την έκθεσή τους στη μόλυνση, μειώνοντας τον χρόνο παραμονής τους στο εξωτερικό περιβάλλον, ιδίως όταν υπάρχει έντονο κυκλοφοριακό πρόβλημα.

~** «Γιατρέ, γιατί σφίγγω τα δόντια μου;»

Η περίπτωση δεν είναι τόσο σπάνια πια, αλλά θα έλεγα πολύ συχνό φαινόμενο.

Είναι η νέα «τάση» του σύγχρονου αστού, ο οποίος μαστίζεται από την οικονομική κρίση. Το στρες που δημιουργεί σε όλους μας η οικονομική και κοινωνική διάλυση του κράτους μεταφράζεται σε έντονο βρυγμό των δοντιών. Τα αντικαταθλιπτικά και τα ηρεμιστικά που χρησιμοποιεί σε μεγάλες ποσότητες πια ο ελληνικός λαός, για να «σκεπάσει» προσωρινά τα συσσωρευμένα προβλήματα, είναι μια λύση που, προσωπικά, δεν με βρίσκει σύμφωνο. Ο βρυγμός των δοντιών οδηγεί σε σταδιακή απώλεια της αδαμαντίνης, μασητικά και κοπτικά, απώλεια του μασητικού επιπέδου και μεταφράζεται κλινικά σε πόνο στην κροταφογναθική άρθρωση και συνοδεύεται από συχνούς πονοκεφάλους στους κροτάφους.

Περιστατικό:
Άνδρας ηλικίας 40 ετών παρατήρησε ότι τα δόντια του παρουσιάζουν έντονες αποτριβές,
«χαμήλωναν» σε ύψος επικίνδυνα.

Ιστορικό:
O κύριος αυτός πολλές φορές άκουγε από τη σύζυγό του να του λέει ότι σφίγγει τα δόντια του στο ύπνο και μάλιστα αυτό ήταν τόσο ενοχλητικό που ξυπνούσε η ίδια από τον θόρυβο. Άρχισε ο ίδιος να ενοχλείται που τα δόντια του μειώνονταν σε μήκος και η αισθητική εικόνα του χαμόγελού του άλλαζε δραματικά. Παράλληλα, είχε πονοκέφαλο τις πρωινές ώρες, στην περιοχή πάνω από το μέτωπο και τους κροτάφους. Συνήθως έπαιρνε αναλγητικό και ανακουφιζόταν.

Παρούσα κατάσταση:
-Η εξέταση μας έδειξε αποτριβή των δοντιών μέχρι την οδοντίνη.
-Η ψηλάφηση των μυών του προσώπου ήταν επώδυνη.
-Η ψηλάφηση της κροταφογναθικής άρθρωσης αποκάλυψε ένα ελαφρό «clicking» (με τον όρο «clicking» στην οδοντιατρική εννοούμε έναν ήχο που ακούγεται, όταν ανοιγοκλείνουμε το στόμα μας) και θεωρείται παθολογική κατάσταση.

Θεραπεία:
Στον κύριο αυτό θα πρέπει να αντιμετωπίσουμε δύο διαφορετικά προβλήματα:
1.Το γεγονός ότι σφίγγει τα δόντια του.
2.Την αποκατάσταση της αισθητικής εικόνας του.
Όταν ο ασθενής σφίγγει τα δόντια του, είναι δηλ. βρυγμομανής, αρχικά ελέγχουμε τη σύγκλεισή του( δηλαδή τον τρόπο που κλείνουμε το στόμα και πώς «ακουμπάνε» τα δόντια μεταξύ τους) και στη συνέχεια κατασκευάζουμε έναν νάρθηκα εξατομικευμένο για κάθε ασθενή (ένα πλαστικό μασελάκι λεπτό που φοράμε για κάποιες ώρες) και ονομάζεται «νάρθηκας ανάπαυσης».
Ο νάρθηκας χαλαρώνει την άρθρωση, ξεκουράζει τους μύες του προσώπου, βοηθά σημαντικά στη μείωση των πονοκεφάλων και τέλος σταματά την αποτριβή των δοντιών.
Η αποτριβή των δοντιών, το δεύτερο πρόβλημα που έχουμε να αντιμετωπίσουμε, οφείλεται σε αρκετές αιτίες:
-μια κακή σύγκλειση των δοντιών
-η μεγάλη κατανάλωση φρουτοχυμών (οξέα)
-ο βρυγμός (σφίξιμο των δοντιών)
-η μειωμένη έκκριση σάλιου
Γενικά, η αποκατάσταση γίνεται με veneers πορσελάνης (όψεις πορσελάνης) στα
μπροστινά δόντια, εάν το πρόβλημα δεν είναι πολύ σοβαρό, και στεφάνες ζιργονίας πορσελάνης στα πίσω ή με στεφάνες ζιργονίας πορσελάνης μπροστά και πίσω, εφόσον έχουμε πολύ έντονες αποτριβές.
Συνιστούμε στην κατασκευή των «θηκών» να χρησιμοποιούμε τη ζιργονία πορσελάνη και όχι την μεταλλοπορσελάνη ή την ολοκεραμική, γιατί είναι πολύ πιο ανθεκτικές εργασίες, άριστου αισθητικού αποτελέσματος και χωρίς τα αρνητικά του μεταλλικού σκελετού (οξείδωση μετάλλου, αντιαισθητικά μαύρα όρια στα ούλα.

As the health of much of the global economy weakens on a daily basis, political leadership increasingly ignores the source of the malady and instead focuses on short term band-aid remedies. These measures which may buy a few months, or years, of relative well being, will convince the public that problems have been solved and will thereby take pressure off governments to make the needed structural changes. The $1 trillion Fourth Reich(EU) bailout is a perfect example of this band-aid approach. Napoleon Sarko threatened to pull out of eurozone, unless Merkel agreed to back the Fourth Reich's bailout plan!

The euro has been rescued for the moment, but Eurokleptocrats have thrown the foundations of Fourth Reich's common currency overboard with their unprecedented bailout package. In the longer term, the dangers of the crisis can only increase, and the flood of billions of euros will lead to inflation. Eurokleptocrats have thrown overboard all the noble principles and promises of the formal, tough treaty-based foundations for the introduction of the euro and the independence of the European Central Bank.

Eurokleptocrats sacrificed the independence of the European Central Bank and paved the way for a European Inflation Union. There won't be any state bankruptcies in the eurozone in the future. ECB will just purchase government bonds ofthe country in trouble. The money can't run out as ECB prints it itself. A flood of money like that can't continue without any consequences. The currency's stability will be undermined and inflation will destroy Fourth Reich.
In the future, ECB plans to purchase government bonds in emergencies. Not only has this been prohibited until now, it also contradicts the central bank's overarching goal: keeping the value of money stable. Once this taboo has been broken, the very foundations of the euro will erode. sacrificed the independence of the European Central Bank (ECB), and paved the way for a European Inflation Union.

European Central Bank President Jean- Claude Trichet calls for more effective sanctions against countries violating eurozone's Stability and Growth Pact. Trichet calls for a quantum leap of mutual control among eurozone governments. ECB sould not be listening to recommendations from Eurokleptocrats.

Kleptocrats are creating zombie banks and companies that are kept alive artificially. We started with a too-big-to-fail problem, and part of the policy response to the crisis has been even more financial consolidation. JP Morgan took over Bear Stearns and Bank of America took over Merrill Lynch. What we have now is financial institutions that are even bigger. Those institutions, even more then before, know if they do something very risky, something reckless, they will be bailed out again.

The Federal Reserve refuses to give a public accounting of the trillions in recent taxpayer-backed loans. Congress has the responsibility to force a public audit of the Federal Reserve, and the American people deserve to know how their tax dollars are being spent. Allowing the Fed to remain out of control and shrouded in secrecy clearly allows for abuse and the continued stealing of our tax dollars through inflation and unaccounted electronic bank loans.

The Federal Reserve's abuses lead to constant economic crises like the current housing crisis, international banking crisis and the resulting chaos. The Federal Reserve System forces fuel, food, housing, medical care and education costs upward, meaning that everyone who is not on the government dole is forced to make do with less as the value of money slowly decreases. History shows us that riots, violence and full-scale police states can result when people finally realize fiat money isn't worth the paper it's printed on and refuse to accept it.

There is no suggestion that interest rate swaps, the largest category of OTC financial derivatives, or foreign exchange swaps played any role in the financial meltdown. Yet the kleptocrats' proposals extend regulatory rules for futures to these bank-based products. Wantonly extending futures regulation to swaps applies the wrong tool in the wrong application. The result would be ineffective regulation damaging everything involved.

Individuals and banks should be free to choose what money they use. This is an especially controversial, but absolutely essential, component of a truly free society. The government may not force us to use infinitely-inflatable, green pieces of paper. Historically, when left free from government-dictated currency, the overwhelming choice of individuals has been gold money — which has objective value, a stable quantity, and other qualities that make it an excellent form of money. Interest rates on a gold standard are set by supply and demand in the marketplace; there should be no governmental manipulation of interest rates, and thus no ability of the Federal Reserve to create massive bubbles such as the dot-com and housing bubbles.

Basil Venitis points out that since its inception in 1913, the Federal Reserve has helped to devalue the dollar by 96%. During the recent economic crisis, it has poured trillions of dollars into the economy with no oversight, made secret agreements with foreign banks and governments, and has refused to tell Congress who is getting the money or to give it the details of what deals are being made. We demand full transparency from the central banks.

Play misty to me! Central banks play a confidence game with us. A confidence game is defined as an attempt to defraud a person or group by gaining their confidence. The victim is known as the mark, the trickster is called a confidence man, and any accomplices are known as shills. Confidence men exploit human characteristics such as greed, vanity, honesty, compassion, credulity, and naivete. The common factor is that the mark relies on the good faith of the confidence man.

Central bank's mission to instill confidence in us about the economy while simultaneously instilling confidence in us about the abilities of the central bank itself. Central bankers are almost always publically bullish and hardly ever publically bearish about the economy. The economy always looks good, if not great. If there are some problems, don't worry, the Fed will come to the rescue with truckloads of money, lower interest rates, and easy credit. If things were to get worse, which they won't, the Fed would be able to respond with monetary weapons of mass stimulation.

Central bankers are the people who said that there was no housing bubble, that there was no danger of financial crisis, and then that a financial crisis would not impact the real economy. These are the same people who said they needed a multitrillion dollar bailout of the financial industry, or we would get severe trouble in the economy. They got their bailout, and we got the severe trouble anyways. It is time to bring this game, this confidence game, to an end.

Venitis notes that central bank's artificial creation of credit is the culprit in the business cycle. As the boom turns into bust, the economy tries to readjust itself into a configuration that conforms to consumer preferences. That is why it is so essential for government to stay entirely out of the adjustment process, because arbitrary government behavior can only delay this necessary and healthy process.

Wages and prices need to be free to fluctuate, so labor and other resources can be swiftly shifted away from bloated, bubble sectors of the economy and into sustainable sectors of the economy where consumers want them. Bailouts obstruct that process by preventing the reallocation of capital into the hands of firms that genuinely cater to consumer demand, and by propping up instead those firms that have deployed resources in ways that do not conform to consumer preferences. Fiscal and monetary stimulus do nothing to address the imbalances in the economy, and indeed only perpetuate them.

There has been much discussion of moral hazard in connection with the flurry of bailouts that began in 2008. Moral hazard refers to people's readiness to act with an artificially elevated level of risk tolerance because they believe that any losses they may incur will be borne by other people. Hence the bailouts will tend to make major market actors even less likely to behave prudently in the future, since if they believe they are likely to be considered too big to fail, they have more reason than ever to believe that they will not be allowed to go out of business, and therefore that they may continue to make risky bets.

Venitis asserts the very existence of a central bank such as the Federal Reserve and ECB aggravates, indeed institutionalizes, moral hazard. Since there is no physical limitation on the creation of paper money, firms know that no natural constraint exists on the power of the central bank to bail them out of any serious trouble. The Central Put is the implied promise that the central bank would intervene to assist the financial sector in the event of a serious downturn. No one has a right to be surprised when market actors behave accordingly.

Everybody's money income is somebody else's cost. In the case of the stupidus stimulus, the administration paid for it through taxation, borrowing, and printing new money. With all three methods the net result was that someone was made better off but only at the expense of someone else. When the government forced up the minimum wage, there was no added amount of production to offset the increase in business costs. Instead, we have seen a record level of teenage unemployment.

Corpfare is corporate welfare, such as subsidies, bailouts, and monopolies, granted by government to davajides, pimps of kleptocrats. Corpfare destroys the level playing field that free markets depend on, creates a corrupt relationship between government authority and special interests, transforms corps to corpses, and is unconstitutional. Even loans by government-sponsored entities constitute another form of subsidy. Zombiecorps, zombie corporations, badly in need of structural reform, but kept alive by state subsidies, badly hamper growth. Basil Venitis figures that at least four trillion euros are wasted on corpfare worldwide every year.

Whenever government tries to force up wages, real purchasing power falls. That is because the negative effects, which are unavoidable when such policies are implemented, will always outweigh the positive effects. While money wages might increase for some people, government has forced up business costs, so less is produced. Consumption ultimately is made possible by more production.

We need venitism now! If not now, when?

Venitism is a new libertarian paradigm, introduced by Basil Venitis, which integrates politics, economics, ethics, and spirituality. Venitists follow the Venitis Laws:

Venitis Law of Black Hole: Taxation is armed robbery that feeds the black hole of political corruption; it's the perfect index of corruption and tyranny. Only evil governments tax citizens and companies.

Venitis Law of Depression: Only governments can cause economic depressions and funny money. Lower tax rates, a reduction in the burden of government, and elimination of kleptocracy and VAT are the only way to boost growth.

Venitis Law of Education: There is no direct relationship between education and schooling. You might be schooled but uneducated, and you might be educated but unschooled. Schools are concentration camps for the drones of society. Unschooling is much better than schooling. Internet is the best source of knowledge and information, replacing schools, libraries, media, parliaments, and postoffice.

Venitis Law of Environment: The best way to save the environment is vasectomy. Deadly viruses are Gaia's antibiotics against the cancer of overpopulation.

Venitis Law of Equality: Death is the only equalizer. Egalitarianism brings death to society, transforming citizens to zombies.

Venitis Law of Evolution: The ultimate phase of human evolution is the complete domination of soul.

Venitis Law of Faith: Faith is retarded thinking that keeps you away from God. You have to become faithless, in order to start your journey to God! You have to discover God your own way without intermediaries. God's truth should replace faith.

Venitis Law of Government: The only purpose of government is to protect citizens from criminals. Public services, central banks, and fiat money should be abolished.

Venitis Law of Heroism: Entrepreneurs, innovators, and heretics are the real heroes.

Venitis Law of Insurance: Citizens with proper individual retirement accounts and health savings accounts should be allowed to opt out of State Insurance.

Venitis Law of Intervention: Any government intervention deteriorates an existing trend. Laissez-faire is the only progressive policy.

Venitis Law of Legislature: Parliaments should be abolished, because they continuously create laws that enslave citizens, constraint economic activity, loot producers, reward drones, and encourage political corruption.

Venitis Law of Misery: Throwing money to misery brings more misery. Fighting wild leverage with more leverage is homeopathic repression of reality. A deluge of fiat money brings financial plague and haemorrhage of economy. Real money is tied up to precious metals and strategic metals.

Venitis Law of Patriotism: Patriotism is addiction to local hysteria.

Venitis Law of Property: Governments should not own or regulate any property, including waves. The first individual who improves or cultivates any unclaimed property is entitled to that property. Governments cannot own, allocate, regulate, or manipulate frequency fields and media. Eminent domain is null and void.

Venitis Law of Religion: Religion is spiritual slavery. Church is the business of religion. Religious monopoly turns bishops to ayatollahs, and churches to Sodom and Gomor. Spirituality and metaphysics should replace religion.

Venitis Law of Rule: Anarchy is the rule of gangs, infinitesimal government is the rule of law, and big government is the rule of the cancer of socialism.

Venitis Law of Selfownership: You own your body and your soul, and nobody should dictate what you take in and what you take out. Speech, education, heresy, habeas corpus, military service, mating, healthcare, abortion, cloning, drugs, guns, and euthanasia should be personal choices.

Venitis Law of Style: Your soul needs to resonate with mighty words and unique acts that express your style and destiny. Your government cannot dictate your language, your words, and your culture. Resonate now and sing your song!

Venitis Law of System: The most efficient political system is venitism, where everything is private, there are no taxes at all, there is no parliament, and a powerless infinitesimal government is chosen and supported not by hoi polloi, but by the most generous benefactors.

Venitis Square Law: Political corruption is proportional to the square of the size of the government.

Venitis Tax Law: For each percent of lower taxes, the economy grows by at least four percent more, and the government gets more revenue. Raising tax rates is masochism. Smart stimulus is to cut tax rates. Stupidus stimulus is to increase spending, which stimulates the cancer of socialism!

Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan of terrorist Turkey is in Athens for talks accompanied by Turkey's cabinet ministers for economy, foreign trade, interior, foreign affairs, transport, energy, education, tourism, environment, and European affairs, and 100 business leaders.

They blankout when Venitis asks them why they have not expelled terrorist Turkey from NATO. How can they sit next to terrorist Turks who committed the Cypriot genocide? How did Henry Kissinger finance the Turkish invasion of Cyprus?

Historical differences of Greece and terrorist Turkey have brought them to the brink of war on several occasions, and the two countries are looking for ways to normalize their ties. The visit is being hailed as historic in Turkey. It's definitely a perfect win-win situation, as if these two countries can solve their joint problems once and for all, it will be fantastic for both.

Member States now put more equipment and more personnel at Frontex's disposal in the Aegean Sea of Greece. Frontex now coleads border patrol operations with Greece.

The word refers to a valley lost deep in the Altai Mountains, supposedly the origin of the Turkish nation, who were miraculously led out by a gray she-wolf. The story was for many years a favorite of secular nationalists seeking to replace Islam with a patriotic founding myth. But now it is supposed to be the unifying name of a conspiracy of military officers, judges, journalists, professors, and reactionary political organizations.

The existence of this shadowy secularist spider's web has been the excuse for repeated waves of arrests, many of them at 4:30 in the morning, of prominent opponents of the Islamization of Turkey. Much of this activity was presumably a response to an attempt by the Constitutional Court to outlaw the AK party. This was the secular state's answer to the AK's efforts to overturn a ban on women wearing headscarves on state premises.

This seemingly trivial change is immensely important in a country where outward signs of Muslim fervor were banned by Mustafa Kemal before World War II in his attempt to turn Turkey into a modern nation, with a legal system based on Switzerland's rather than on Sharia and with emancipated women. Now, after years of Muslim subjection, the newly militant Islamic movement sees its chance to re-establish power.

Public diplomacy has a particularly vital mission during war, when the peoples of other countries, whether adversaries or allies, need to know why we fight. What are the ideas so dear to us that we would rather kill and die than live without them? And what antithetical ideas do our enemies embrace, about which they feel the same way? After all, it is a conflict of ideas that is behind the shooting wars, and it is that conflict which must be won to achieve any lasting success. The main reasons for failure stem from intellectual confusion regarding what it is we are defending and against whom we are defending it. Venitis asserts the greatest confusion of all is the inclusion of genocidal Turkey in NATO. Terrorist Turkey has committed the Armenian genocide, the Pontian genocide, the Greek genocide, and the Cypriot genocide.

The outcome of a trial by kangaroo court is essentially determined in advance. Kangaroo court comes from the notion of justice proceeding by leaps, like a kangaroo.

Adding insult to injury, the 200 Graecokleptocrats who robbed 200 billion euros since dictatorship in 1974 established kangaroo courts in the Greek parliament to investigate themselves for various scandals! There are 300 Graecokleptocrats in the Greek parliament. This means two out of three judges are the culprits themselves! These are the people who got two billion euro kickbacks from Siemens the last ten years, churned 80 billion euros of pension funds of poor Greek workers, gave huge valuable land to monasteries in exchange for kickbacks, got many billion euro kickbacks from military purchaces, traded antitrust panenalties for kickbacks, and myriad more scandals. Moreover, Graecokleptocrats will get several million euros in overtime payments for investigating themselves! No wonder, Greece is broke. Returning the loot is hard to do. 300 Untouchable Graecokleptocrats, the most corrupt politicians on Earth, those freaks that enjoy absolute impunity and full parliamentary immunity, assert they will never return the 200 billion euros they robbed from the Greek treasury, kickbacks, and churning the nest eggs of poor workers! Karzai continues to seek to convince Americans that his regime is worth fighting and dying for, with a visit to Arlington National Cemetery and private talks with top kleptocrats.

Venitis points out Afghan president Hamid Karzai bites the hand that feeds him, doing his best to irritate the Western countries which keep him in power. Wily Karzai shows his independence, in order to survive the post-NATO era. Karzai is a drug addict, and his brother, Ahmad Wali, is the leading drug lord of Afghanistan, the greatest opium producer in the world. 95% of the opiates originate in Afghanistan!

Civilians are helpless and indecisive, caught between NATO forces and the insurgents, and thus unreliable. They might help you in the morning, then help your enemy in the evening. In fact forces are worried about protecting locals from them too, because there's so much collateral damage. When you do anything that harms the locals, you just have a huge chance of alienating the population. Soldiers trap Taliban fighters in residential compounds, then allow them to send out the women and children, only to discover the fighters had slipped in burqas and walked out as well.

You have to be able to distinguish between the armed enemy and the unarmed enemy, the population that supports the enemy and the population that doesn't support the enemy. The soldiers who don't know how to distinguish friend from enemy wind up multiplying the enemy. The NATO forces are the invader, the outsider, that's not going to change, and you add to this problem with your own record of human-rights violations. Soldiers cannot convince the locals they can protect them from the insurgents, after all, if the soldiers look like they are not sure they can protect themselves. The locals just ask the soldiers why are there in the first place, and the soldiers blank out!

Venitis points out Uncle Sam and Fourth Reich(EU) now spend two trillion euros every year on the military, homeland security, and intelligence. There are 5,000 active terrorists in the world. This works out to spending 400 million euros per terrorist per year. Fear of terrorism drives growth in government and has led to involvement in multiple little wars and some bigger ones as well as subsequent exercises in nation building, all of which have been unconstitutional, and none of which have turned out well.

The global war on terror, now referred to as overseas contingency operations, is without end and without limits, and has made the West hated and feared in most of the world. It has even made Americans and Fourthreichians potential targets of their own government without any recourse to the protections afforded by the American Constitution or the Lisbon Treaty. The exploitation of fear of terrorism by kleptocrats has led to wars that did not have to be fought. Fear has been the key to the door for expansion of government, and kleptocrats have seized the opportunity. It has also eroded the liberties that have defined our Graecoroman culture.

Venitis, twitter.com/Venitis, points out the largest kickbacks originate in the military industry. Military procurement is a corrupt business from top to bottom. The process is dominated by advocacy, with few checks and balances. Most people in power love this system of doing business and do not want it changed. War and preparation for war systematically corrupt all parties to the state-private transactions by which the government obtains the bulk of its military products. There is a standard 10% kickback to kleptocrats for military purchases.

Business interests seek to bend the state's decisions in their favor by corrupting official decision-makers with bribes, such as gifts, loans, entertainment, transportation, lodging, prostitutes, inside information about personal investment opportunities, overly generous speaking fees, and promises of future employment or consulting patronage for kleptocrats or their kith and kin, campaign contributions, sponsorship of political fund-raising events, and donations to charities or other causes favored by kleptocrats. Kleptocrats in turn corrupt businessmen by effectively turning them into conspirators and beneficiaries of kleptocrtas' most fundamental activity, plundering the general public.

Venitis notes that participants in the military-industrial-kleptocrat complex(MIKC) are routinely blamed for mismanagement, not infrequently they are accused of waste, fraud, abuse, and kickbacks(WFAK), and from time to time a few of them are indicted for criminal offenses. All of these unsavory actions, however, are typically viewed as aberrations, misfeasances to be rectified or malfeasances to be punished while retaining the basic system of state-private cooperation in the production of military goods and services. These offenses are in reality expressions of a thoroughgoing, intrinsic rottenness in the entire setup.

Venitis notes that socialists, kleptocrats, and warmongers destroy Uncle Sam. The failure of America's wars has been the very freedoms they sought to preserve. Propaganda, lies, and myths led America into many wars. As venitists know, war has ever been the health of the state. It is clear that wars, hot and cold, have been responsible for the enormous taxes, deficits, and governmental spending that have created kleptocracy so beloved by the social engineers and economic planners of bureaucracy. If foreign wars have been America's chief failure, its great success has been the historic peace and freedoms, the individual liberties and responsibility, to which we must now return.

Most Americans opposed entry into World War II, primarily because they had experienced the destructive idiocy of U.S. intervention into World War I, a war that accomplished nothing more than the wasteful sacrifice of thousands of American lives, not to mention giving rise to Adolf Hitler and, ultimately, World War II. Even though World War II saved Europe from the Nazis, the Eastern Europeans were delivered into the hands of America's communist partner in WW II, the Soviet Union.

It's a real tragedy to die for nothing, but we should honor the Americans who go out every day and place themselves in danger in the belief that they are doing so to defend their nation and way of life. The real tragedy here is that kleptocrats, who are completely divorced from the suffering and pain of real people and their families caused by the continuous warfare, do not have the courage to pull the plug on the entire bogus enterprise of interventionism and nation building. Changing one warmonger planetarch for another leads nowhere.

The war on terror has been used to justify trillions of dollars in spending, hundreds of thousands of new government positions, and thousands of new government contracts. At the same time, the war on terror has produced very little in terms of new technology or enhanced security, has vastly increased the degree of national centralization, and has created many new permanent trees and branches in the gnarled world of kleptocracy. Furthermore, it has led to conditions and changes antivenitists hope for, massive growth in spending, new permanent and centralized government institutions, and worst of all, an incredibly stupid militarization of the pursuit of terror.

Chinese general Sun Tzu understood that understatement and deception is necessary in war. He asserted to be extremely subtle, even to the point of formlessness. Be extremely mysterious, even to the point of soundlessness. Thereby you can be the director of the opponent's fate.
Instead, American approach has been to almost randomly identify countries and governments and very publicly, go after them. The only mystery of our military and foreign policy is in the minds of the American people, who do not understand why the war isn't won yet, and why the enemy seems to be expanding, getting smarter, and hating us more.

Sun Tzu pointed out that if ignorant both of your enemy and yourself, you are certain to be in peril. He was right about that, but in fact you wouldn't know it from the obscene confidence and outright idiocy put out by the Pentagon, and eagerly embraced by two presidents, one a conservative, the other, an antivenitist. We, as venitists, ought to care about getting back to a kind of venitist normal, not creating a stupid normal of unconstitutional government, unsupportable debt, and endless war. We should want victory in the War on Terror but understand that victory must include a return to small government venitism. Sun Tzu asserted that he who knows when he can fight and when he cannot, will be victorious.

Von Clausewitz, a famous German strategist, knew that the first, the supreme, the most far-reaching act of judgment that the statesman and commander have to make is to establish the kind of war on which they are embarking. But instead, we are still debating the question of "What is this war on terror?" More and more we are asking, why isn't it working, and when will it end. Instead of Sun Tzu and Von Clausewitz our strategy has been more theatrics than tactics, and running on a script written by those who stand to benefit from more government, and more government spending, than those Americans who are venitists and who in their hearts, do value the Constitution.

The war on terror is simply not succeeding. In many of our overseas battlefields, we are creating and growing new terrorists, and smarter terrorists. We are increasingly exposing our own weaknesses in terms of occupation and counterinsurgency, and even as we institutionally learn from our mistakes, it is always too slow, always after the fact.

We seem to be supporting a vague policy of global nation building. We keep hoping that putting another one of our crooked guys in charge of a country will work, and we keep hoping that military and economic blackmail can keep the locals in line. That's just idiotic.
It may be that our military policy is not designed to reduce terror at all, but is instead simply designed to evolve hand-in-hand with the war on terror, in order to maximize the opportunity for growth of American intelligence and security institutions. Permanent institutional growth.

Many predictions about the next decade have been made recently. One thing not predicted for 2010 is a reduction of American forces, or fewer American interferences and entanglements overseas. No one is predicting the ending of America's illegal wars, or even the ending of a front in just one of the illegal wars.

The nearly decade-long experiment in government growth called the war on terror has been a cruel joke that history will rightfully blame on the Republican Party. It's not working can all see that. But only venitists are truly in a position to offer a reasonable alternative. And that alternative is to energize venitism in our defensive strategy and foreign affairs, and to rediscover the sound advice of Sun Tzu, Von Clausewitz, and more than ever, the American founding fathers.-
